About Flow-mon
Flow-Mon Ltd was established in 1971 as a distributor of Flow Rate Indicators and Flow Switches. In 1972 the company moved to its current location in Harrogate, United Kingdom, and began manufacturing and distributing Flow Monitors.
In 1979 these products were re-designed to meet the demands of the most difficult industrial applications. In the mid 1980's the 'Low Flow' (also known as 'CC' or 'Piston') unit was introduced to complete the range of products.
In October 2001, Flow-Mon were bought out by Pullman Instruments (specialists in service, repair, supply and calibration of electrical test and measurement instrumentation) with a new management team to move the company forward; Nathan Smith (Managing Director). In 2007 Flow-Mon manufactured and sold approximately 5000 flow monitors and this year 2008, we are on target to produce 6500 units.
We specialize in making economical, robust and user friendly flow monitoring and switch instrumentation and in the past 5 years have added to our range with 2 variations of ‘sight indicators’, the flow-mon rising ball and spinner models. These products have been a great addition to our range and are satisfying customers with there superior quality.

There will be some new additions to our products in the second half of this year when we start to manufacture our own range of ‘spout’ and ‘flap style’ sight indicators and also a new ‘wafer style’ variation on our main flow-mon ‘flow rate indicator switch’.
From October 2001 through to the end of 2007 Flow-Mon Ltd doubled its turnover and we were able to increase market share along with steadily changing, updating and improving our well established products.
In March 2006 Christian Freeman joined the company (Commercial Manager), bringing some great skills to the business. Christian recently visited Brazil where we are due to appoint a new distributor for that area of South America. In 2007 Flow-Mon exhibited in its first trade show in Germany and later in September in Beijing, China.
With a combination of over 35 years experience in manufacturing good quality, robust yet affordable products and a new team determined to satisfy all our customers' requirements, Flow-Mon are in a strong position to tackle the challenges faced by manufacturing companies in the 21st century.
